What is the uri of my yawcam stream code#
Here's the code on my page taken from a View Source copy:Īgain, do I need to have some files located in any particular location on my computer or my server for the applet to work? Please see my earlier posts in this tread. on the Applet setting it gives me the Java logo then after a few seconds the Err. On my remote server I've tried it on both settings Script and Applet and neither works.on Script it immediatly gives me the Err. When I use the Java Script setting Yawcam works on my local machine.when I use the Applet setting it doesn't work on my machine. I really dont want to look for another software. Are there any file or applications (like yawapplet.jar) that I need to move to my web server Right now I just have the page with the applet on the server and everything thing else on my computer. Do I need to put some files on the remote server aside from the html page with the applet? Pardon my ingorance in this matter.I'd really like to stream this to my webpage. My webpage is hosted by hostmonster and I put the applet in an html file. I can't get this to work on my website.so what I'm asking is, the applet refers to Yawcam.jar which is in my progfiles>yawcam>stream dir and it also refers to yawapplet.class.

I've tried changing ports.(no-ip works fine when directed to my computer) and at least five differnet applets in this forum and one from your form.which, by the way, is a very good fourm. Then I upload this page to a directory on my server and the page comes up nicely with the Java logo for a few seconds and then "Err chk Usr online?" Then I compose a webpage from the Yawcam templates and a zillion of the applet codes on this form.here's one that I recently tried: Now I want the stream to go to my webpage so set the Yawcam stream to Java applet, port 8080 (which tested fine on the links), Real Image size, quality at 50%, enable http, ftp, and stream. Ran the "what's my URL?" and tested all 4 links (2 inside network and 2 outside). I also have a website where I want to stream my cam.įirst I tested Yawcam on my local machine: I ran the "Am I online?" works great for both HTTP and Stream. I'm running XP home and the latest version of Yawcam.
